I need your opinion.
Dixie,
I choose to eat a South Beach meal replacement bar on the very very rare days when I just can't find the time to eat a meal. I have to say that in the 7 months that I have been on my journey I have eaten perhaps 5 bars.
I don't like liquid diets. I don't think that is realistic in the long run. It isn't rocket science to figure out that if all we are allowed is liquid, we are going to lose weight!!!! For a few pounds perhaps it isn't a bad idea. But if I had to drink off the 100 pounds I lost so far, I'd be a fairly cranky person.
Try the bars, but sparingly. The best nutrition is going to come from whole foods such as protein in the form of turkey, chicken, fish, etc., vegetables and whole grain items for the carb portions.
Good luck.
Donna
I use LA Weight Loss meal replacements. But those are only available to their clients. I would suggest comparing the nutrition labels of different brands. The LA one has 20 g. of protein and 66% of daily requirement for calcium. And a lot of other good stuff too. I would just try to use the one that had the most nutrition to offer.
