Nice!! I was saying earlier, maintainance is the MOST important part... to ensure that all your efforts will last a lifetime.
OK Ladies.....my weigh-in was wednesday, but I've waited 'till now to post..... 4.2 lbs down this week. I even kept my earings and rings on when I got weighed. My total loss is now 42.something, in 14-15 weeks. I still have a ton and three quarters more to go, but it's happening little by little. When I left the dr.'s office after my weigh-in, I was so pleased, I was starting to think about skipping my work out, but instead, I did twice as much as usual and told myself that was my gift to me for a good week. Normally, I would have congratulated myself on a job well done with food.....but I'm on a different planet now. I'm starting to like it here.
Have a good week,
Laurel

Every little bit counts, Laurel!! Glad to hear that you didn't skip out on your work-out as a "reward" -- because, it's just counter-poductive if you were to do that! I think the hardest thing for us is to re-teach ourselves the function of food in our lives. We need to eat for neccessity now, only eat because we HAVE to... not eat because we want to, to comfort ourselves, to keep us occupied, or to reward ourselves!

I was out of town for the weekend.
Not a great week for me. My weight was up 1 lb. to 387. I've managed to get the exercise componet as part of my life in the last 6 weeks, but I am still struggling with the eating. This week was definitely a struggle. The habits of a lifetime are difficult to alter. Karen
Well, posting late because of the big snow storm here in the NE, but my weight has been steady after a nice drop a few weeks ago. I'm around 206 (from a high of 258).
It's going very slowly now, and probably I'm eating too many carbs (been craving them, so trying to go to the whole grain foods), and not getting to the gym enough. On the other hand, not gaining, which is very good, especially for me, a fine and accomplished gainer.
When oh when will i break 200?
