Tuesday Feb. 7 Menu - need a new start
I went to a free Weigh****chers meeting yesterday, (didn't get weighed) and I still felt depressed and cried before the meeting. I tried talking to some of the other people there, who gave me suggestions, but it just wasn't enough. I came home and called the number for Overeaters Anonymous and left information for them to send me a meeting list for this area. I still have my OA book, and I feel I need to do a new inventory with them again. It worked for me back in my mid-thirties. I lost 70 pounds, and grew alot as a person. I'd like to grow some more now.

Hang in there Denise. I don't know how many times I tried something that didn't work for me until I found the right program. Just keep searching. You will find the right program for you.
Breakfast: LA fruit smoothie with pineapple, 1 oz. lowfat cheese stick, 3 lowfat Triscuits, peanut butter LA Lite Bar
Snack: chocolate chip cookie dough LA Lite Bar
Lunch: apple, orange, LA chocolate protein meal replacement drink, 3/4 oz. mixed nuts
Dinner: Pizza! ( made from 1/2 pita, 2 T. lowfat spaghetti, turkey pepperoni, red peppers, 1 oz lowfat cheese), salad, fat free dressing
That pizza tasted really good. Pita bread makes a great thin crust.

Denise,
I'm very proud of you. It's extremely difficult to find just the right program to help us through this dreadful addiction, but you were able to reach back in your memory for something that worked--and you're willing to go back to it. Weight loss is a journey. There are many roads we will need to travel to get to where we need and want to be. Weigh****chers had it's place; now it's time for something else. The wholistic program that OA offers, truly supports all the dimensions of a food addict.
You're okay, honey. You're worth fighting for, and if that means trying something new or semi-new--then just do it!!
Today's meals:
Meal 1: Oatmeal, orange juice
Meal 2: Soup, string cheese
Meal 3: Healthy Choice dinner
Snack: High fiber, lite English muffin, sugar free jelly, and whipped peanut butter
Snack: popcorn
