Changes for 2006

For 2006 I will make the following changes to my Weigh****chers Flex Point diet: Instead of Subway sandwiches and chips for lunch on the weekends, I will get chicken salads and soup. For lunches during the week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will have tuna salad and soup, plus a fruit, yogurt w/sugar free preserves, and a pouch of Whole Grain Twists from Weigh****chers (either cheddar or ranch). I will prepare either salmon or tilapia with brown rice twice a week, instead of once. I will have chicken twice a week, and either pork chops, lamb chops, or steak on Fridays only. I will have either Crystal Light ice tea or diet root beer to drink at dinner times, instead of skim milk or low fat chocolate milk. All these changes will save points for me, which I have currently been running out of by the weekend. I'd like to do their program successfully, and start losing weight more consistently. Wish me luck! I'd also like to get back to using the treadmill at Bally's, as well as doing situps and using some of the weight machines there. I couldn't walk during the summer because of the heat and just recently, arthritic hip problems. Denise Phares

Wow Denise, You really got your plan laid out! Excellent! That's how we find success in changes in our lives: when we define exactly what we will do, it is so much better than blanket statements like, "follow weigh****chers diet better," or "eat more fish." I did the same thing. I determined that I would exercise 90 minutes, 5 days a week; and add alternate day, upper/lower weight training doing abdominal work every day. It sure gives us a sense of control and a direction for us to focus on. You done good! Jessica
