CJ Not fair!!! You didn't answer them first!!! My biggest accomplishment of 2005 is my starting to regain my life. My resolution for 2006 is to keep doing much of the same. I remember, oh gosh how many years I remember my resolution to be to lose weight. I knew it had to happen at SOME point. We are having dear friends over for New Years Eve. A couple we have known for over 4 years and another for over 3 years. The third couple we are just meeting, hopefully they too will become dear friends. Happy New Year to all!!! Donna

OOPS!! Silly ME!!! Here's MY answers... ~Biggest accomplishment -- I'd definately have to say the creation of my NEW family for my little boy. New father figure for him, I feel like an entirely new (and healthier and happier!!) Mommy, and a new home for us to grow and be safe, happy, and healthy together!!!! ~Resolution -- Definately and Obviousely... drop my last 40 or so pounds, and then perhaps even get rolling on the plastics... ~PLANS -- Staying in our new home and ringing in the New Year with my TWO favorite boys!!! Fiancee Mark , and little boy Jason!! *LOVE* my boys!

Hey CJ! Nothing special planned for NYE. I'll be working tomorrow from 7a to 7p, so 12 hours of my day is shot! But I'll be home later in the evening with my partner and my two daughters, so that'll be wonderful. I think we'll watch movies, and play board games!! That's my favorite: family time!!! This year, the thing I'm most proud of is supporting my eldest daughter in making her college choice. It was a long and arduous process, but we did it, and in two weeks, I'll be driving my not-so-little girl to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to go to Alverno College: where I went to college!!! We put in a lot of hours researching schools, doing long distance interviews, and generally preparing. She's thrilled with her decision, and I'm tremendously proud of her! Completely for myself, however, I am very proud of my own growth in learning to watch my portion sizes, commit to 5 days a week, 90 minutes a session of exercise. I've been working to disable my food addict for the past year. And I've come a long, long way. I recognize that food addiction will be a lifelong ailment for me, but I refuse to allow it to weigh down my body, or my mind. 56 pounds gone, and 74 more to go!! I don't make new year's resolutions, but I will continue on my quest to take care of my health, decrease my weight, and continue to secure the ground my marriage is built upon. I've only been with my partner for just under two years , and I enjoy all that it takes to build and secure a relationship. Looking ahead to all the changes in 2006, I plan to meet my goal weight of 175 pounds, make the final decision and complete the process of immigrating to Canada, and continue to enjoy the tremendous relationships I have with my two daughters. Happy New Year to everyone!! Jessica

Hi CJ (and all other readers), Biggest accomplishment in 2005 - Losing 100+ pounds. Goal for 2006 - Lose the next 100+ pounds. On NYE we always go to our daughter's & son-in-law's house. They only live about a mile away so we are not out driving with all the folks who have had too much to drink. We usually play cards, Taboo, Pictionary, etc., ring in the new year and are home by 1:00 AM. What excitement! We are not night people and we are very, very light drinkers so .... Hope you all have a safe & fun NYE and happy and prosperous 2006. Blessings, Maren

Biggest Accomplishment: Meeting my goal weight. Resolution: To maintain my goal weight. New Year's Eve plans: Just staying home with my kids. Probably my 16 year- old daughter will be the only one home. My 19 year-old son and 17- year old daughter will probably be on a date. Or their girlfriend and boyfriend may be at my house. I might say my starch and cheese and make pizza for supper. I use 1/2 of a pita, low carb pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni, and lowfat cheese. My kids like it. Lynette

I'm a little late responding, but here goes. I know you said one thing, but in 2005, I had two accomplishments I'm equally proud of: maintaining my weight loss and becoming an adjunct professor. Resolutions for 2006: Not to be so hard on myself. Continue my healthy and active lifestyle. Make my yard presentable. I did nothing special for New Year's Eve. Best of luck. Kasey 365/210 (nonop)
