Merry Christmas! I'm at My Goal!
It's Christmas Eve. I'm up early to get in my morning exercise and start the family celebrations. I weighed this morning, and I'm 1 pound below goal! It's the best gift I could get! This morning we have breakfast at my mom's house and exchange gifts. My oldest daughter and her husband are here too. My mom cooks a big breakfast with biscuits and sausage. But I am just going to take my own breakfast - pineapple smoothie, 1 oz. lowfat cheese, and chocolate chip cookie dough LA Lite Bar. For lunch, I'll drink my protein drink. For supper, I'm fixing my special lowfat chicken salad in pita bread (my kids love it too) and a vegetable tray. I got Baked Lays for the kids, and I am fixing them a rich chocolate dessert. But I'm not eating any of the dessert! Then we will exchange gifts that night with my daughter and her husband. They have to go back to Chattanooga for Christmas Day. Merry Christmas to all! Remember that being healthy is the best gift you can give yourself. Treat yourself to healthy food not junk. It is well worth the rewards.

Hey Lynette,
Whooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo!!! I am so happy for you!!! That is an absolutely amazing feeling and what a wonderful christmas present for yourself.
I feel the same way as you do about the treats. I am making Christmas cookies right now and I admit to waking up in fear, wondering if I would e able to do this. I made my breakfast, took my vitamins and got the water ready. I haven't even been tempted yet and I am on the 4th cookie selection.
You go girl!!!

Thanks Joyce, Donna, and Phylis (and all the others who post here)! I appreciate your support. I am determined to stay focused and keep it off for good this time. I am going to continue to need your advice and experiences. I may not be overweight now, but obesity is a disease I will have to battle all my life. My body can just balloon up if I don't keep tight reins on it.
