Optifast Program - Kingston, Ontario, Canada

Hi, has anyone been through the Optifast program offered through Kingston General in Ontario?  I've been assessed for surgery, but put it on hold because, as someone who at the age of 58 has never even spent a night in the hospital, let alone had surgery, I can't face how drastic the idea of this surgery is.  I was wondering if any of their weekly classes are offered during the day, or are they all in the evening.  I live over an hour away from the hospital, and don't relish the idea of driving that far after dark.  I'd also be interested in hearing general thoughts on the program from anyone who has gone or are going through it.  Thanks!

out of curiosity I googled it and it looks like it works if you follow it and dont cheat but it also looks very expensive. nutrisystem works too, is the same concept but probably cheaper
