so my schedule is hectic been having trouble finding time for exercise..so tonight I am like Ok kids Momma needs to exercise..put on the dvd..it is only 30 mins
so the 7 yr old sits there, Mom u r doing it wrong, watch their feet
then the 20 month decides to to throw herself right at me feet and screams and cries..oh ya she did

so i just kept going and ignored the nonsense, wasn't the best workout but it was 30mins of moving..

I want to workout so much and by the time i finish the basics, dinner, clean up, laundry, make lunches etc..or if it is soccer night forget it..there is just nothing left except sleep
can'teven get up early cuz the baby is still waking up twice a night and if she hears me before 6am she wakes up and says Momma , wake up*lol*
so i work fulltime monday - friday and using my lunch hours when I can and the weekends are crazy, always walkign but it is just not enuf..

sorry just need to share my frustration

that does sound frustrating!!  it sounds like you are doing the best you can, maybe involve your 7 year old in the exercise, she would probably think it was a game.  maybe knock your 2 year old out, got any benedral???    (don't worry, i'm just kidding!!!

i can certainly see how that could be frustrating... although i'm not a single parent i too find it difficult to find the time to exercise... sounds like you're doing awesome with the time you have though... during soccer season is it possible to do some walking while the kids are playing... i figure i'll have to go that route myself... my DS is playing for the first time this year... keep at it... you're doing great...

Every little bit helps.....keep trying to fit it in whenever you can and I'm sure you'll see some results soon.  Maybe you can get the 7 yr old to join you when you do the exercise DVD....

(((HUGS))) It is hard to start and to find both the time and the energy. But you should be proud that you've made a start. If you keep doing it the kids will begin to respect your routine, and maybe the 7 year old will join in if it looks like fun.

The bonus will kick in a few days when you start to have more energy - but it's so hard to get over that humongous hump. Look around for places where you can add exercise seamlessly so it just become second nature - taking stairs at work, parking farther away from the entrance etc. They are little things that add up.

I know you can do it because not only have you started but you're thinking about how to keep it up.
