Week #1: 10.8lb lost
Week #2: .8lb lost
Well, it's not 10lb but I'll take it. I ate within my points again all week, but with the addition of many more carbs (mostly whole grains). I'm insulin resistant and guess I'll learn sooner or later that I just don't tolerate those carbs well anymore. Back to basics this week!
I also didn't get to my water aerobics all week....that makes a big difference for me.

Hi Sherrie, you're still doing well - you're sticking to the WW, you did shed some weight and even if you didn't get to your water aerobics - you're still thinking and concerned about it.
I found it helpful when I first started on my shedding weight journey to focus more on the positive changes that I was making and not so much on trying to rapidly shed weight. Take pride in all the good changes that you're doing and give yourself a big cyberhug from me (((HUGS)))).

Congratulations! Almost 12 lb in 2 weeks. WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI - if I eat carbs like pasta, rice, bread, potatoes I will not lose any weight even if I stay within my calorie/points range. My body just doesn't break it down easily. Oatmeal, Bulgur wheat I'm ok with...isn't that odd.
Anyhow just wanted to say well done and stick with it. Can't wait to hear about your week 3.

Thanks, Ruth. Yes, sadly I don't do well with those kind of carbs either anymore....even sticking to my points. My oatmeal in the morning or oat bran gives me a great laxative effect and doesn't seem to stall me. I had a bad day on Monday after my weigh in though (lots of poor choices) and trying to get back to my weigh in weight at the moment. Not sure why I sabotaged myself like that. Maybe today's Oprah show will help me understand. :)
Sherri you're doing great! A lot of times after a large loss, the body has to adjust. I've been doing WW for 4+ years and in my first month I had larger losses followed by gains! It was so frustrating because I was 100% on program. But, things began to even out and I had steady losses. I still have undeserved gains occasionally, but it's to be expected.
Congrats on your first 2 weeks!!!
