Good Day!
WAHOOOOO it's the weekend.  Although since I'm not working all the days sort of blend together but still I get excited about the weekend....wonder why that is???

Anyhow I'm riding high today on my shopping spree yesterday.  Gotta tell you I was physically worn out after about 3.5 hrs of shopping but I got some really cute outfits.  I tried to explain to Matthew this morning why it's such a big deal for me to be buying/wearing white pants and blouses with bold prints and ruffles or plaid shorts........ I don't think he totally gets it but he has been very complementary about the way the outfits look on me.  I did a fashion show this morning....LOL!

This is my first big shopping since I started losing weight.  During my weight lose I bought everything that stretched so I could get many months of use out of it and I sewed (altered to smaller sizes) most of the pullover tops I lived in.  This stuff I bought was all nice and fitted stuff.

I've put together a few nice outfits for my trip back home to see family and friends...most of whom I have not seen in 18 months so they will not recognize me.  :-)

Ok - enough on that, I'm just giddy about it.

How about you.....what are you celebrating and proud of??

So cool that you got some "alone" time.  I often cherish mine!
It's important to take care on yourself......something we often forget to do since we are taking care of others, and the house, and the job, etc....

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

LOL, Michelle - Time alone is GOLD - I remember when there was a time I couldn't even go to the bathroom without a rug rat coming for attention. I'm glad you managed to sneak in a little time to enjoy by yourself.

Ruth, that's so exciting - you must look so stylish -white pants, bold prints and ruffles etc. are all the most popular trends right now. wait till your family sees you - wow, it's going to be a wonderful shock.

I'm still in the phase of buying the most minimal and trying to stretch it out so you don't spend too much money - and this is getting a little old but I keep reminding myself that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I did find some really pretty print stretch T shirts in Talbot's on clearance sale the last time I went shopping and for the first time I think in my life I'm wearing prints and enjoying them. Who knew? And I think the next time I have to buy pants I'm going to look for khaki or some other lighter color - no more black or dark brown.

We're probably going to walk in the mall after supper for a change.

take care everyone and have a great weekend.

Gotta admit I am really looking forward to the reaction from my former co-workers.  Family and best friends have seen pictures along my weight loss journey but I think nobody is prepared to see the final results....especially since I just finished all my plastic surgery and NOBODY has a current picture since around Jan.....big changes happened since then.  :-)

Although I haven't lost as much as you guys, I did have a little hurrah today at the store when I tried on plus size dresses for summer and had to put them back on the rack because NONE of them fit.  They actually pulled over my head and the top half fell down to my waist!  Like I said, HU-RRAH!

It has been a beautiful weekend here in Maine.  I live on the coast and it is wonderful.  I celebrated my 41st birthday yesterday.  As I reflected back on the past year I can't believe how my life has changed.  I have lost 160 pounds since February of last year.  I feel incredible!!!!  I have to say my 40's kick A$$ over my 30's (except for having my two wonderful boys).  I am wearing a med. top and size 6-8 pants.  I am exploring plastics as my inner thighs and belly really needs help.  I am thankful that my arms are ok.  They are not great but am fairly comfortable in short sleeves.  I am also thankful for the makers of Sweet Nothings firming cami's.  I could not survive with out them...LOL.  I also have discovered wonderful new jeans from Lee.  They are called Slender Stretch and OMG they are wonderful.  I tried on a size 6 and think I will order a size 4 as they could be a bit snugger.  HOLY CRAP!!!!   Who would have thunk!!! Last year at this time I was wearing a tight 24!!!!.  Sorry to ramble but I have so much to be thankful for.  I have 3-5 pounds to get to my goal and then plan on getting my first tattoo as a tribute to my journey.   I want a tiny one on my foot as I want to be able to cover it but also see and enjoy it.  I'm thinking a butterfly and flower?????  Thinking REBIRTH theme.  Any thoughts or ideas on this would be greatly appreciated!!!!.  I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!!

Edited to add:  Oops just realized this was the non surgical weight loss forum.  I did have RNY last March after trying many time on my own.  I salute all of you!!!!

Hi!
Congrats on your weight loss!

So glad you are enjoying life more (me too!).
I toy with the idea of a small tattoo too.

I just finished my last major round of plastics....I've had it ALL done (some procedures done more than once) so if you have questions feel free to PM me.  Stop by the plastic surgery site too...you'll learn lots there.

Saturday I went up north to pick Morel Mushrooms, which I do every year. So I am proud that I walked around in the woods for 4 hours non stop. :] More like a small hike since it isn't a flat terrain. I would have weighed Saturday morning, but TOM came along finally...gosh I have been waiting for that, had me freaking out that I was knocked up again lol. So I am waiting for it to go away then here I come scales! I know it will give me a good result, I feel it.
