What have you done today to make you feel proud? Weds

Well here we are......1/2 to the weekend.

For me today is a bit stressful because I am having surgery tomorrow, early morning so I have a lot to get done before I leave for surgery tonight.
I'm having my last major round of plastic surgery...the Inner Thighs (long incision) and I am having my arms re-done plus some small revision to very top of the TT incision by the breasts and maybe a revision to the left nipple.  A LOT of cutting so it will be a lot of recovery.  I already know the inner thigh is the most painful of all the surgeries and the hardest recovery....I've been mentally trying to prepare myself for this.  I'm proud that I am not totally freaking out (although that could happen in a couple hours).  I'm proud that I have prepared plenty of healthy food and snacks to take with me to the facility I will staying at for a couple of days....I don't want to rely on pkg'd or fast foods for the next couple of weeks so I'm taking a bunch of meals I froze and a container of protein shake powder (I've done this with each surgery and it helps me stay on track with my food.....this is important because I will not able to exercise for a few weeks....even walking is a problem for 3-4 weeks!

OK, I've rambled on long enough...maybe I am more nervous than I first thought....
Anyhow I won't be posting for a couple days so I will wish you all much success.  Keep up your good work, keep posting!!!  Skylar is going to pick up posting the thread for me so share what you are proud of and I'll catch up on it all when I get back on line.

Take good care of yourself

Ruth, I'm wishing you smooth sailing and a quick recovery. Lots of swinging chickens and healthy vibes being sent your way. And we look forward to your return to posting. Don't worry, as we discussed, I will take over your "what have you done to make you feel proud" while you are gone. We will miss you while you're gone.
