I only lost 1.6 lbs this last week :( BUT... that's okay! It was still a LOSS!  So my total WL for the past 3 weeks doing WW has been 12.6 lbs.

I have been allowing myself skittles to help me get ALL my water down, but decided around Wed to stop and see how well I would do omitting the skittles. I found again, that I really was just NOT getting tha****er down as well ass if I did eat some little swetts to MAKE me thirsty. So I started the skittls routine again on Sat. I guess I'll do what WORKS for me!?

So I think, had I drank ALL my water this week- I may have lost 2 pounds but instead, I lost a bit less.

Anyhow- that is my WI news :)   Hope everyone has a GREAT week!!!

ONLY 1.6...come on that is a GREAT number!!

You know the best and healthiest way to lose is it 1-2 lbs a week.  SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE!

When I look back at the months (many months) I was losing I avg out to just over 1 lb per week.  Some weeks were 3 lbs, a couple were 5, many were 2.something but there were lots that were less than a lb and even 0 BUT I REACHED MY GOAL and you can too!!!!

Drinking all the water does make a big difference  so try to to get it all in.  Reminds me I need to go drink a glass of water...

Don't feel discouraged about a 1.6 loss, that is an EXCELLENT number!!!!!!!!!!!  Be proud of it!!!!!

Ruth is right, 1.6 pounds is something to be proud of and you're definitely well in that 1-2 pounds a week loss that is healthy.

I know when I first started and saw that I had 200 pounds to lose, well that just seemed to be such an enormous task that I though I could never achieve - it was overwhelming even to think about it. But I persevered and now I look back and see I've lost 155 pounds. I realize I didn't lose it over night, I lost it a pound at a time so those pounds add up - you just have to focus on doing the right thing and making it a habit.

As to skittles, hummm, I'm not so sure it's a good idea. Our bodies work pretty well at telling us when we are thirsty - if you aren't thirsty, then maybe you don't need to drink. Skittles have calories that have no nutritive value. If anything you'd be better off eating plain sugar because you'd get less additives and junk than in a skittle - although I do think skittles taste better. I'd be careful because this is something that can lead you back to bad habits. Better to incorporate your water into your food - especially by eating soup. JMHO I don''t want to make you feel bad, I just hope I'm helping you make a better decision. You are doing great.
