Weight loss

I have lost from November 18, 2009 (when I weighed 241.5 pounds) to today, weighing 201 pounds just by being abstinent and walking an indoor track.  I average a weight loss of 2 pounds a day now.

I belong to Overeaters Anonymous.

I don't want to burst your bubble but me thinks you have a typo.......40 pounds in 4 months is not 2 lbs a day.....I think you might mean 2 lbs a week....

Denise Congratulations on the weightloss. I'm in OA also and it has made a difference for me.

denise, I think Ruth is right - there is a typo. However I think you are doing wonderfully - I remember when you were first starting and how hard it was at the beginning and now look at you girl. And 2 pounds a week is a very healthy weight loss.  Ibet you feel so much better now and can move around a lot easier.

I don't walk every day but I lose two pounds every time I walk on the indoor track.  I tend to walk around 2 to 3 times a week and lose 2 pounds every time I walk.  It's not a typo at all.
