Good Morning!
Sun is shinning and it looks warmer outside so what am I doing indoors?????
Actually I'm getting ready to head out the door....have some shopping to do so I can finish my yard work tomorrow/Monday.
Also very busy with getting ready for my surgery next week ...honestly I'm not all that nervous yet but I'll be a basket case in a couple of days (then I calm down again).

Today is my "free day"....I'm not going to be doing any structured workouts today but will be wearing my pedometer to count my steps as I am running around all the stores. ( I wear my pedometer from the minute I wake up till i go to bed (I even hook it on my pajama pants before I get dressed for the day!)

So what are you up to today....what are you feeling proud of today??

Remember it's all about calories in vs calories burned and the daily food decisions we make.
Wishing you all a get day.....

I hope you had a good day shopping. Thanks for posting these daily threads.

I'm honestly not proud of anything I did today. My eating was fine, I logged my food but most of the day was spent on a couch. I was born with a physical disability that is getting worse and without being all TMI on an opean board it is got worse the last two days. I'm always scared when this happens I won't get back to where I was mobility wise. At least I did not turn to food for comfort today.

I see a few things you should be proud of ....
Your eating is fine, you are logging your food, and you didn't turn to comfort food when you are having a tough time.  That's at least 3 things to be proud of.

Hang in there.  I sure hope you are feeling better real soon!!!!!

What made me proud Saturday actually was the fact that even though my really good friend (the one who weighs and measures me at curves) went out to eat at Apple Bee's Friday my weight only went up 1.4 pound and I was so thrilled by that , I truly was expecting a much larger gain so that was amazing. Then today (Sunday) was the most amazing day ever, when I stepped on the scales and lost that 1/2 pound and officially hit 100 pounds lost. That was the most amazing feeling in the world.

Enjoy the feeling and do something extra special for yourself to celebrate (non- food celebrations are now my favorite kind!!!).

Truly and amazing accomplishment, congratulations!

I did a lot to make myself proud today. I'll start backwards one day from Friday, my weigh in day. I weighed in with no loss, no gain. i was a bit dismayed....but the back of my mind told me same is not bad, and same also could mean exercise is workign like it should.

I had half a mind to blow all my hard work and take Friday as an "I suck" day... but I didn't. I decided to celebrate my effort. I treated myself to a manicure.  I stayed on track.

Saturday I took my boys to a park. I decided to walk the trail while they played. It felt so goo I decided to up my walk to a light jog. I've NEVER jogged out in the open before. It felt GREAT. And it felt even better when I my boys were jogging along side of me.

Then later that aternoon we decided to bike ride (I walked/jogged, don't have a bike). We even hiked a little trail. I'm excited I got so much 'natural' exercise in!

Glad to read how well everyone is doing. I decided a long time ago not to beat myself up when I slipped up because it doesn't do anybody any good. Instead I just give myself a little hug and then get back to doing things the right way.

Peach, I love all your activities - and it's so good that you can share them with your boys - they learn more from watching what we do and less from what we say.

I had a good mall walk with DH and then we had a concert that evening where we met some friends that haven't seen us in a couple of months - and they were very complimentary on our weight loss which felt good.

Ruth, boy you're an old pro at this getting ready for surgery LOL I hope it's all smooth sailing.
