Good Morning my fellow losers......lol
Today my proud is all about BALANCE. So important to not do too little or too much but to have proper balance in our lives. For me today that means I am working out this morning. Not only is it raining but we have an appointment with a business lawyer early this afternoon and we need to get ready for it. Since I am not exercising to lose weight but to maintain my weight and my health I really do not need to workout 6 days a week. I would like to still do 6 days but my goal these days is to do 5 or 6 days so taking this morning off is just fine....no guilt for me!
If the rain stops and warms up later I may go for a bike ride or short walk before the sun goes down....maybe, maybe not.
So how about you.....what are you proud about today??

Ahhh...balance- that elusive little devil. Tell yourself you are healthy & beautiful and believing those things are just as important to working towards ensuring that...hopefully that can keep the guilt factor to a dull roar.
When I did WW I purposely stopped following the plan cause I wanted to see how well I could maintain what I'd lost that far. I did well for about a year. I recall when I regained 4#'s my mind made it feel like it was 40#'s and I was an utter failure. Therapy helped me realize how my attitudes were formed about weight/weight loss while growing up and how it impacted my thinking. I had to retrain my brain. But I digress...
Today I'm proud that little strut I've noticed in my step. You know it..its the one of confidence that says I'm doing everything I can to make my strut a little lighter, a little sexier and a whole lot healthier!
I measured by breakfast and snacks (but left my snack home dern it). Will buy lunch today.
I also attended a WLS seminar last night...verdict: I'm still not sold on it.

I know what you mean.....in the past even the gain of 1 lb would throw me into a tailspin....I can handle it better now. With WW they allow only 2 lbs either up or down to be "within goal"...not much wiggle room. Personally I think a 5 lb range is realistic but they must have done some research to support the 2 lbs so I'll bow to the experts...
You keep on strutting......hold your head high.......and be proud of your sexy self!!!!! I notice I walk taller too. :-)
I was not totally sold on the WLS idea but did start to look into it. Thankfully I was able to do it without surgery.

Kudos on the workout but don't forget to eat your lunch too!!! You should also drink some protein before or after working out to feed the muscles.
Yep....one day at a time and sometimes for me it's one meal at a time or one hour at a time...LOL

I like that Struting - yes, full of confidence.
I went to the mall to find some tops to wear since it looks like we're going to have Spring after all. This is the first time I was shopping only in the regular size section and it felt so weird. I'm fitting in size large which is amazing. I still have problems shopping in that I tend to go with something that is too large because I'm so used now to wearing clothes that are too large. So I have to keep reminding myself to buy something that fits because in a little while it will be too big. When I was in the plus sizes I had a variety of sizes in my closet, but now I have to buy everything. I was filled with a lot of different emotions as I shopped, excitement and happiness and contentment but also scared that things won't fit, uncertainty that I maybe shouldn't also check the plus sizes and total confusion because there is so much choice and I was looking in stores I have never shopped in before.

I didn't realize this post was here EACH day LOL. I am just reposting what I posted below :)
I guess my 'proud' would be that I'm on day 19 of WW and I have NOT gone over my 25 points allowed per day... and I've not touched ONE of my extra 35 in this time :)
I have been drinking 12 cups of water each day for most of this time :) I drink 6 cups in the morning and 6 cups in late afternoon/evening!
AND... I have dropped 10.8 pounds in the 1st 18 days :)
