Thank you!
So i am just going to write down what i eat every day so i can see what i need to change.
Today i had home made pumpkin soup with light sour cream.
2 x wholemeal slices of bread
Low fat vanilla yogurt
melon, celery
I'm trying to drink water but it makes me feel ill lol.
1 can tuna on 2 slices wholemeal bread
:( Oh i failed so bad at my first day.
I also ate : Another tub of yogurt (white raspberry flavour), a 20gram stick of cheese, a small snack size mars bar. I don't know why i ate that, it was in the shopping and infront of me so i just ate it.
I don't want to follow any specific eating plan. I've done that 1000 times. This is just going to be about making healthier choices, slow and steady.
I also walked around the clothesline 10 times and im sad to say i got puffed just doing that!
Good Luck everyone

I find myself eating healthy and then staying awake all night and pigging out. I need to get myself some structure. I have walked around the clothes line 10-15 laps for the last 3 days. It's not much but it's a lot for me.
I can't control what food comes into the house as i live with my mother. When i see the junk food she brings home i just have to eat it!
I'm not giving up yet though.
Hope everyone else is doing great! :)

Are you drinking enough water? It helps fill you up and can get you thru the night.
Can you ask your mother to help you out and to support you by not bringing junk food into the house?
If she insists on bringing it in maybe it can go into spot in the kitchen you can't easily see it. I find out of site out of mind works.
Wishing you well. Post an update when you have time.

Well i thought i would update. I started drinking more water like you said, i always have a cup of water near me... and i can't stop peeing LOL. Walking to the bathroom might be good exercise!
I have been stepping on the scales non stop but they don't seem to be moving. I will let you know what my weight is after this week is up.
I have been eating a lot healthier than i usually do. My mother said to me that i look like i have a bit of spark back in my eyes. I'm able to stay awake for longer - usually i have no energy and just want to sleep all the time.
I'm not going to give up this time, no matter how long it takes me. I just keep reading this website for inspiration. Thanks for all your support it means a lot to know I'm not alone. I think the big difference this time around is that i am surrendering to the fact that i am going to need to exercise.
:) Talk soon
Hi, Hermit! My name is Sam and I am new here. I just wanted to say way to go! I totally understand bout the junk food temptations!!! My boyfriend keeps alot of snacks in the house to take to work. I am talking, cookies, cakes, candy, you name it and its here. I even bake him cakes or brownies to take to work at least every 3 days!!! the temptation drives me nuts!!! but it does get easier. I just have to tell myself, I don't need this. and everytime I am able to turn away it is a small victory!!! And each small victory is helping me to reach my goal! Hang in there, it does get easier.
I have a long term goal of 150 lbs lost. But I also have a short term goal of 50lbs by june 30 2010. Having short term goals, at least for me, helps it not seem so impossible. Hang in there! I am always here if you need to talk to someone!
