Awesome weigh and measure day at curves yesterday
Well, I weighed and measured yesterday at curves and I was SOOOOOO thrilled with my results. I hadn't measured since November 18th, so I guess it was really 2 months worth but still to me the numbers were great. I lost 10 pounds, 10.5 inches and 8.58 body fat pounds. My inches were as follows.
Bust - lost 1.5 inches
Waist - lost 1/2 inch
Abdomen - lost 2.5 inches
Hips - lost 3 inches
Thighs - lost 1.5 inches (each)
Arms - stayed the same
Body fat - went down 3.4%
BMI - went down 1.66
Current measurements are as follows
Bust - 37
Waist - 29.5
Abdomen - 34.5
Hips - 37
Thighs - 21.5
Arms 10.5
Body fat - 29.4 %
Does anyone know exactly what is considered a healthy body fat percentage for a 37 yr old female? I've read so many different things on the interent that I'm really not sure. Some say that 29% is healthy other places say it's not so I'm really not sure what percent I should aim for.

Way to go!
I bought a 'Tanita' scale which tells all! You can see your percentage of body fat, and the book lets you know how you're doing in each catagory. It's a good way to track your progress. You can see hydration percentage, metabolic age, etc. I didn't pay much for mine. I know you can sometimes get them on Ebay or Craigslist too. I'm not sure which model I've got.
Anyway, good job on the progress. Looks like you're doing great.

I think you are shooting for a BMI of 25 or less for the doctors to say you are 'healthy".
Excellant work! Way to go

Yeah my BMI right now is 25.8 but I'm trying to decide where would be a healthy range for my body fat right now it's 29% so I'm not what exactly is considered a healthy body fat I've found so many conflicting tables and information on the web. Right now I think I'll just focus on finishing getting the weight off and then hopefully I can work out where my body fat percentage should be.
