Pretty good week
Well yesterday was my 8th month weigh in and today was my 35th week weigh in and it was a pretty good week I am at 160.6 today. So that puts my loss this week at 1.6 pounds so not too bad at all. I wasn't expecting much really because all week I had either went up or stayed the same so it was a nice surprise towards the end of the week to finally start seeing some loss. I'm hoping so bad next week to be in the 150's but I guess I'll have to wait and see. I have really started stepping up my workouts at curves and I can tell a big difference so I think that might help get the weight loss started going good again because I'm not willing to eat any lower calories then what I'm eating now so I figured the best thing I could do was step the exercise up. Hopefully this will make a difference.

First let me say CONGRATS on your success!
You mentioned you stepped up your exercise routine.....don't forget as you build muscle you may slow down the lbs coming off for a little while because muscle weighs more than fat but all of a sudden the lbs will melt off again.
Stay focused and you'll hit your goal!!

Thanks Ruth that's a great point and something I need to keep in mind if the pounds stay a bit slow coming off at first. Because I really did increase my exercise a lot last week hoping that would help. So it may build a bit more muscle. I had been doing my exercises at curves pretty good but I decided I just really needed to step up the intensity because I wasn't willing to eat less calories then what i'm eating right now so hopefully intensifying the exercise will pay off in the long run.

When I started on my own journey 2 years ago the hardest thing for me to wrap my brain around was that should not quit because I was not seeing it on the scale. I am so normally so fixated on the number on the scale I had to really stay strong and determined when it didn't move (and even went up once or twice).....but I started to notice the pattern.....when it slowed downed or stopped for 2 or 3 weeks then I'd drop 3.5 to 5 lbs in a week (twice I dropped more than 7).
Hang in there remember slow and steady wins the race!!!!!!

That seems to be how it is for me Ruth, I tend to have 2 weeks out of the month that i don't do real great but then the other 2 weeks I typically do pretty good. I am supposed to weigh in tomorrow at curves and I'm really curious to see how I've done this month as far as inches and body fat go. I'm really hoping those have went down pretty good. I'm pretty sure the weight loss will be the least I've lost since I started measuing in back in May. But I'm OK with that even if I only loose 2 or 3 pounds this month. I'm thinking I should loose between 3 - 4 pounds for the month but we will see how that goes tomorrow. I'm always excited for weigh in day.
