A possible break through?
When my husband got home tonight he sat down and immediately told me that as of Friday we are changing the way we eat. I was like huh?? What did I miss? lol We wasn't even talking food or diets.
Last night we got into death from obesity, things like that. I think he finally got the hint that my body is deteriorating from this. He said that no matter what, he's going to fight to get me healthy. That he wants for me to live a long and healthy life with him. I almost started crying!!
He just wants to "eat healthy, and with portion control". I'm not quite sure that will work for me. I usually seem to need more rules than that, but then I do break them when I have them! So I don't know, I have too many different ideas in my head. You would think I should know what to do by now! There is just so many different ways to lose weight!
That's what I do, with my husband! Eat healthy, with portion control. Do what your husband tells you to do, and you'll be losing weight, before you know it! I eat modified vegetarian, right now. I eat five small meals a day, with two snacks in between the three main meals. How does your husband want you to eat?
Also, it's important that you don't starve yourselves, if you are exercising. Eat only when you are hungry, and not to cover up your feelings. Eat only healthy food, and not junk food, as well.

If you try the way your husband wants to do it and you find it's not working well for you, you can always change how you go about it. Some people can do ok with portion control and I think other's just prefer not having things around that are tempting. I think that's more of an individual decision.
