Finally started losing a bit again

For the longest time it seemed I was gaining and losing the same 2 or 3 pounds the last few days I have finally broke out of that cycle and into the 160's I'm so happy.  I weighed in today at 168 it was such a nice feeling I had been in the 170's forever.

I am putting some of my success to the fact I just got a job and started working a week ago and I think this has really helped. I'm working at curves and I can't tell you all how much I love it. It has helped me so much with my weight loss so it's a gym that I really believe in so I love working there and help motivating others to reach their goals. I think being up and active the whole time I'm at work has really helped me break out of my weight loss plateau. I still can't believe I'm just 18 pounds away from my goal.  I never throught when I started this journey back in April I'd be this far but I'm so happy that I am. I am dreading the holidays, I know how hard it's going to be to stay within my calorie budget but I'm hopeful I can do it or at least stay on maintence calories so I won't gain.

Congrats on breaking from your plateau.  I hate plateaus.....pesky annoyances but part of the journey.

Congrats too on being so close to goal....AWESOME!!!

Thanks Ruth, it's so nice to finally be seeing the scales moving again and in the right direction. Today was my 30th week weigh in and I had a great week, I managed to loss 3.2 pounds this week which is the most I've lost in a while. I had been very slow on the losing for the last little bit so it was nice to see such a large number.  I weighed in this morning at 167.4 I can't believe i'm only 17.4 pounds away from my goal.  I'm so excited. I really do attribute this latest lost to my new job at curves and being active all day I really think this has helped me break out of my plateau. So I'm hoping this week since I'm working every day but Wednesday including next Saturday that I will actually have a decent week this week as well. We shall see what the week brings with it.

WOW, 3.2 in a week is awesome.  I'll be very happy if I can do that this week with my next weigh in.  I gained 5 lbs this week!!!  Some overeating, some wrong foods and maybe some swelling but still I hate the scale going up!

Keep us posted on your progress....its inspiring for all of us to read about successes.

Best wishes for a great week.

Hey Mary, it's amazing, I couldn't ask for a better job. I absolutely am loving it.  I wanted a job that wouldn't hinder me going to the gym or my weight loss and I sure couldn't have found a more perfect one then working at curves.

Today I have my first sales appointment and I'm a bit nervous about it, but I know once I get past the 1st one I'll be ok lol.  We are having open house next week so I'm sure we'll have a ton more sales appointments that's the plan at least lol.

I had been looking for a job for a while and the lady that I always talked to when I went in the mornings was going to take a leave of absense and she mentioned to the new owner I might be interested in a job so it just kind of went from there and I started wroking there a couple of weeks ago.

It is an amazing job and it's hard to believe I actually get paid to do something I love lol. We've been having open house the last 2 days and it's been very busy but I completely love it. I couldn't have found a better job.

My weight loss is back to being really slow this past Sunday I lost .02 of a pound but I expected that with having such a good loss last week. I will have to see what this week brings. I'm doing my monthly weigh and measure tomorrow at curves so I'm curious to see how many inches I've lost and how much my body fat has went down. I'm hoping to have had a pretty good month.
