So I had a non scale victory that I wanted to document, I have noticed that my workout clothes have gotten too baggy for me to comfortably work out in them, so I went to Walmart today and bought a new pair of work out  pants, in a size XL brought them home and they fit, and the are comfy, now mind you, when I enrolled in the gym 2 years ago, I was wearing a 4X or a 28 in womans sweat pants, then for the last 6 months I have been wearing a 2X, I am excited to be buying smaller clothes, I just wish I could buy a whole new woredrobe, but 1 piece at a time is how it has to be. And probably better that way as I continue to lose pounds and inches!  anyone else have a non scale victory to report?

AWESOME!
Congrats on the great success.  Isn't it fun you find you have melted away even more than you thought.  Sometimes I go to the clothing store just to try on smaller sizes to see if they fit....LOL  how pathetic of me but it's helped me stay focused.

Enjoy your victory!!

Ruth, I know, when I picked up the pair of pants in the store, I looked at them and was like, hmm they look kinda small, but I will just get them and if they dont fit I will work into them, as a goal pair of pants, but hey I was wrong cause they fit! Another time a few weeks ago my mom came down to visit and she hands me this cute shirt and says "here do you want this? it doesnt look good on me" so I looked at it and said it's cute but it's only a Large mom! but when I tried it on it fit just fine! WOW! and I actally wore it yesterday with my new workout pants, just to lounge around the house! it is so true that you dont realize how much your body has changed! and it is so exciting!  Trying on clothes is becoming fun again!

PhatPanda - a size 12 - that's incredible and what a birthday present. Happy birthday.

I'm hoping that I've bought my last bra at Lane Bryant. I went in with a 44DD which I just bought a couple of months ago. I am now the proud owner of bras in size 38DDD. I can't believe it and now that I can find bras in regular stores I'm not going back to Lane Bryant ever again in my life if I can help it. It's not that there is anything wrong with their stuff, in fact I think their bras are well made, it's just that I associate it with being fat.

I'm also down another size. I bought pants last month that were just fitting and now both pair are too loose and sloppy to wear. I guess now that we're getting in the smaller sizes, the pants are better fitting and you don't have to lose a ton of weight to go down a size.

I'm thrilled with all of our progress.

Everyone is doing awesome, I love so much trying on clothes and getting the surprise that I can wear things that used to be too tight.  I am in a size 14 right now some fit pretty loose but a couple of pairs are still fairly tight, I'm really hoping maybe by the first of the year I can be in a 12, I can't wait for the day that happens.  It's kind of strange with jeans I find I'm all over the place in what fits depending on the jeans and how they're made.  I have some 11's in juniors that fit great and then some 14's are tight it's kind of strange.  I even have 3 pair of American Eagle jeans all 14's 2 are the boyfriend jeans and they're the really tight ones, then the other pair also a 14 that is very loose they're the boy fit ones so I assume it's just the way they're made that seems to determine how they fit me.

In shirts since I like my shirts quite bit I always tend to go ahead and get XL, but yesterday my daughter brought home a couple of t-shirts she had gotten at school and I really liked one so I decided to try it on just knowing it would be skin tight if it even went on as it was a Medium imagine my shock when it fit fine wasn't tight at all.

I LOVE how clothes have become fun again since the weight loss! It is delightful to feel attractive, and so small! I had forgotten that feeling.

I bought a pair of size 10's when I first got to an 18, from my original size 26, and hung it up on my yarn shelf so I could see it first thing in the morning to become motivated! :) I'd try them on every now and again, just to see them creep up higher and higher on my legs! When I could finally zip them up and sit down in them I was absolutely ECSTATIC!!

My NSV is that I recently fit into size 6 jeans, but I think that's as far as I'll go. My size is small enough, and now I am working on physical fitness and body fat percentage rather than losing pounds so much. The funny thing is that I am 10 pounds from my "goal," but I KNOW I have at least that much in loose skin, so I feel like I've already made it to goal. Am I just rationalizing or what??

My NSV was the size 18 pants I bought after my 20's were sagging around my petut.  I was at my highest a tight 22. Now my petut looks pretty HOTT! lol.  I also bought a pair of 16's for work and I can pull them down without unclasping the buttons.  lol. Sizes seem to be different on me too depending on their cut.  I also wore a shirt today that I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to move over to the reconstruct pile.  I think it was a tight 2X and now I'm swimming in it.  I just wish I could get some ASV's (actual scale victories) lol. I'm down approx 40lbs from 302
