You won't believe what my DH just did.........

DH has a life insurance which is pretty expensive, partly because he was in the most unhealthy level due to obesity with high cholesterol, high BP - well you all know the drill.

Well following our new lifestyle for about 6 months, he lost enough weight to get into the overweight category. He just had blood work done and his cholesterol level is unbelievably low - 137. All of his other blood work is stellar too. This means he can now ask the life insurance people to lower him into the no health risk category and the cost of his life insurance is going to drop a lot. I'm so proud of him.

Every body at work and at his doctor's office have been watching him lose weight and they can' wait to hear his results - and he can't wait toget to work Monday and tell them.

I forgot to add why I'm so thrilled that his number is so low. Anything below 150 means that he will not get any heart disease or strokes due to atherosclerosis - none. We don't have to worry about high blood pressure or heart bypass or heart stent operations because he will never need anything like that. And with such great circulations, all of his organs are better nourished and in better shape so I have a healthier DH.

I haven't had my cholesterol checked lately, but mine is probably in this range now. So I know that we are both far more healthy than we were before we started this new lifestyle. I'm so excited that I'm walking on air right.

LOL Mary and he's great to sit next to on the plane because there is just so much darn room now - although, hummm, I don't need that extra room any more because I fit well into those miserable seats too.

I'm just so proud of him, he just followed along to support me and he saw so many good changes in his body that he joined in enthusiastically.
