Good article!!! And yeah..have we lost perspective or what in media beauty? It has not always been this way. Most of us here would have been hot stuff at the turn of the century - skinny girlz were OUT! The Rubenesque Us'ns were IN!
As i have pointed out time and again - even the skinny girls in mags don't look like what we see. Thighs and jawbones are elongated. Eyes are placed a little farther apart. Flaws on skin are deleted. Boobs made larger or smaller depending on the outfit.
For some reason when i read that article i thought about what my DH would say. lemme tell you he is a real woman body lover - and he is not into skinny girls given the choice. That girl is right up his alley. She looks soft and sensual. I think most men are like my DH - the scrawny, barbie booed types are just weird and intimidating to him.
