Hello! SO MANY new faces. I believe everyone will be seeing ALOT of me after this baby comes out. I want it out now...all I can think about is how big I am getting. I cried to my fiance that I worked so hard to get where I was and I am just going backwards to Point A again. (Oh yea I got engaged like a week and a half ago on the 15th EEK! 1.03 Carat Princess Cut White Gold *My DreamRing*) Anyways...he says..Calm Down...You're Pregnant, it's going to happen and I love you no matter what. It puts me at ease a bit but damn it! I'm still stuck. I look in the mirror and I hate it. I mean I know as soon as this litte peanut comes out, he or she will be in a stroller while mommy walks or daddy will baby sit while mommy goes to the gym, we have already talked it over. Its all I can think about. Im kind of obsessed, which in my mind is good because I know I will get back to where I need to be. Where I am happy with myself. Plus HELLO my wedding is Oct 2010!!!! You KNOW I have to look great in a white dress lol. Oh as for baby...13 weeks along. Its taking forever lol.
I hope everyone is doing fabulous and keep doing what works for you!!!!

Hi Christa, this is one heck of a stressful time for you - and exciting too with getting engaged and married as well as being pregnant. Congratulations on finding a wonderful, supportive fiancee who loves you no matter what size you are. Wow, that's a lot without worrying about your weight too.
I hope you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy and eat healthy food so both you and the baby are well nourished and healthy. If you nurse, you will lose weight a lot faster than bottle feeding your baby - something to think about if you weren't going to nurse (and nursing is best for the baby too).
When you are ready to lose weight, we'll be here to help you. In the mean time follow your Dr's orders about how much weight to gain for a healthy baby.
Take good care of yourself,
Skylar

Christa....congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding!! (I had congratulated on that precious baby previously). Glad to hear things are going well for you.
Yes, you will be gaining with this pregnancy, but be careful....don't let being pregnant give you a free license to "eat for two" and return to bad habits. I gained 40lb with my first and only 6 with my second....obese to begin with, with both. You can actually eat healthy (everything in moderation) and come out at the end looking even better than when you began. I'm not telling you to "diet" during your pregnancy....doctors actually encourage 25-30lb gains now with pregnancy, but just don't want you to throw caution to the wind and use it as an excuse to eat all the junk food that you once did prior to losing all your weight. You have done a tremendous job and worked so hard at it. Now comes the real test of maintaining your activity level (yes, pregnant moms can still exercise at previous levels...check with doc first though) and making all those good healthy choices your baby and you both need right now.
Ok...I'll stop preaching. Enjoy this special time of your life. I know it will seem to drag on forever, but wow, what a payoff at the end!!
Hugs and best wishes....Sherrie

Christa!!!! My gurl!!!! Hey, just do your best every day - this is not thime to diet, but the least you can do is eat very little if any fast food/candy/chips, etc, reasonable portions, get some pool time or a short walk in.
We all know very well what not to eat, so just focus on those things! And enjoy being preggers. I felt wonderful! I gained an assload, too, but it will come off.
Lovin YOU!
