From an ex Pepsi addict to an ex Diet Coke addict...way to be Dude!!! I know it's hard, but once you realize what those chemicals were doing to your tooth enamel and the lining of your stomach, you'll know it was for the best.
A mile in 12 minutes, I'm impressed. That last bit of weight in your tummy area comes from visceral fat and that is the hardest to get rid of because it is deep between your organs. Aerobic exercise like jogging and power walking are the best and core training. If you want to multi task, while you are jogging or walking, hold in your gut until it feels like your belly button is pressing into your spine but your breathing is not cut off. Do the same with your butt muscles. This will strengthen your internal girdle and those toned muscles will burn that visceral fat. Of course, you can do those squeezing techniques while sitting down watching tv or while you on the computer, anywhere really.
As for the man boobs...I got nothing. A good plastic surgeon maybe? It really is a cheap surgery and not that painful.

Sounds like you are doing very well, be proud of yourself for your accomplishment! Sounds like maybe you are at a stall. Only thing I can tell you from what I know is keep on at it and don't give in. Eventually it's got to give! If not you will still have your fitness and it (I would think) turn into muscle in the long run. Just don't give in!!
Wow..what good advice and here I can't follow it. LOL
(I can do it, I can do it, I can do it, I can do it) hehe
I say keep on with your program, try to incoporate more condtioning stuff like tricep dips, push ups, etc. several days a week. Increase any more aerobic stuff to closer to an hour more often too.
I have belly fat galore, so I feel ya there, bro. Even when I lost 40#, I lost ONE FREAKIN inch off my waist. That's it. I did take off another .75 inch after a 9 week class of aqua aerobics, but still, it ain't small. It's just the last place I will lose fat evidence.
Good for you....keep it up....be patient!
