Obese and sickness

Is it just me or when us obese people get sick it hits us HARD!  Every time I get sick it goes directly to my chest, EVERY time.  My whole house is pretty much sick and I'm scared to death that it's going to get really bad again.  I already can't breathe that well, and starting to wheeze just a bit.  While everyone else it doesn't seem to bother thier chest at all!

Here I got jury duty on Monday too...ARGHH!

(((((HUGS))))) - nothing worse than getting sick and then siting jury duty. I hope you're feeling better quickly. For some people, eating dairy - milk, cheese etc. can thicken up their mucous and make it worse - maybe you have this problem?

I don't know if that is true or not. I tend to get bronchitis if someone looks cross eyed at me but DH who was just as heavy as me never gets bronchitis. We both rarely get colds or flu. My bronchitis is related to allergies and autoimmune disease and not directly to obesity.
