I did it!

I got below 250 today - 248.5. I am thrilled beyond belief and I'm going to celebrate by not over eating and not eating a treat - instead I had to share it with my friends here and I'll carry a warm glow inside today.

I don't know what my next goal is - usually it's either the next size down in clothes or the next 10 pounds - I seem to have a gap in my wardrobe. I guess I must have worn out the clothes as I was gaining weight a threw them out when I bought larger but I don't remember. So I'm wondering if I can just keep wearing pants that are just too big until I fit the next size or I will have to break down and buy a few pairs to hold me until  get into the next clothes in my closet. Things to think about.

Congratulations!  Any met goal is worth celebrating.  And a wardrobe delimma can be a nice problem to solve.

I tend to set daily personal goals.  Anything longer than that seems to leave me overwhelmed.  And, as of now, they are very small.  Take my meds.  Drink water.  Check on this forum and read the posts.

Thanks, TxBelle. I love that saying - like pennies it eventually adds up. I'm going think about that when the scale is moving too slow.

Awesome Skylar I know how great it feels to hit those goals we set for ourselves.   I think ti's great having small goals along the way at least it does for me they get me very motivated and keep me going.  Keep up the great work you're doing wonderful.

Thanks Johnita - I find small goals are easiest for me to deal with.
