Exercise!
VSG on 06/04/15
Hi everyone! I'm baaack! LOL Anyway, I was wondering what everyone is doing to get up and move now that the weather is nicer? I signed up for a deep water aerobics class, it's lots of fun, sometimes hard to believe I'm actually exercising! The best part about it is, I signed up through my college for credit, and in order to get an 'A' in the class I have to go at least 4 times a week (1 hr classes). Talk about a motivator! I want that A!! I've been going for the past 3 weeks, I had to take last week off because my babysitte went out of town, and I actually MISSED it!! I didn't think I'd ever feel like that about exercise!
I've been off my eating plan, but back on it today! I've gained some weight, I think, but I'm curious to see how diet AND exercise affects me... despite being off plan, I've dropped sizes. Last November (when I started all this) I was a tight size 32 (most likely a 34). Now I'm in a 28! Yay! I'm hoping to drop another size (at least) by November.
Hope everyone out there is doin good!! I've missed you guys!!

Good to see you back on the OH board, Heather...missed you too! (Although I haven't been posting much myself either).
So happy you have discovered the water aerobics....I love them too! I've not been consistent with my classes lately and need to get back to it all. What a great motivator though attending 4x/week for an A!!! For me the difficulty is just making myself get out of the house and getting there. Once I'm there, I love it!! Strange, the mental games we play with ourselves.
I think when you're exercising successfully, the healthy eating comes more naturally. I always hate to blow the good effects of the exercise with bad food choices. I think the two go hand in hand.
Keep up the good work and maybe don't even bother with that scale....sometimes it just isn't our friend. As long as you're seeing the inches disappear....what better motivator?

Hi Heather - good to hear from you. I'm so happy you found this aerobics class. I used to take water aerobics years ago when my kids were little - they had their swim lessons while I had aerobics - it was wonderful. Keep up the good work on the exercise because it will make you feel much better and give you more energy.
