GOALS

 I tried to post this earlier but I guess OH is having problems, or maybe it's just me? but anyhow, wanted to know how everyone is doing on their plans with Summertime and all and what kind of goals you have set before you? My goal is to be at 245 pounds by my Anniversary next month which is August 23rd, we will be married for 12 years and I was looking at my anniversary pic's from last year when I weighed about 317 pounds and wow what a difference that will be! I weighed in this morning at 257 pounds so that is 12 pounds im shooting for in the next 6 weeks, I believe I can hit this goal! how about you? what are your goals?

My goal is to be lighter! I am 257 now and want to lose 10 pounds by the end of Aug. or beginning of Sept.

I totally believe that you can make it however my goal is simply to be going down not up!  That is it.

Thanks!  I give glory to God.  Yup I finally made it to the 230's!!!!  After a very long plateau!

It'd be nice to see the 250s..I'm in the 260 range....i take it 10lbs at a time..so seeing the 250s will be great..a lot better then the 260s..

Like Panda I'm just thrilled to see a trend downward on the scale. I do have some clothes in the size 20 range that I hope to fit into for the fall from the last time I lost weight.

You know what I find shocking and funny? Today I weighed 257 - that's up a pound from the day before because I ate a lot of salty foods yesterday and I can see the extra water weight in my feet today. I wonder what the odds are that there are only a few of us posting here out of a larger number of lurkers - and out of the millions of people who are overweight - that we would all be so close in weight - and infact the same weight?

My goal is to be 199 I'm so close I can't wait to be out of the 200's I'm sitting right now at 202.4 so I'm really hoping by next week I can be at 199 it seems like it's been so long since I've been that weight and I am so hoping to be there again soon and keep in the 100's this time and not gain it back.   That's why this time I made a lifestyle change because I worked out dieting just don't work it has to be acomplete change for it to last long term.

Wow Johnita - so close. I hope you post when you hit 199 so we can all celebrate with you - there is something magical about crossing into onederland.
