Hi All!
I haven’t been on the board much lately.  I finally moved to my new house….still have a ton to unpack, new furniture to purchase, and lots of yard work to get done (I’m hiring someone).  It has been an exhausting week.

Additionally, I recently had some surprising health issues pop up which I’ve been trying to deal with in middle of everything else. I’ve postponed my scheduled lower body lift because I need to focus on resolving the health stuff.  I’ll reschedule it for as early a date as I can.  The stress of getting all the tests done, awaiting results and moving has been a bit overwhelming at times. I think I should have all the results back within the next 2 weeks (I know I get one big result this Thursday).  I’m also scheduled for my arm revision/lipo in a couple weeks so I have a lot going on.

No wonder I’ve been so tired lately…..

Anyhow, I'm proud I'm just holding up under the stress.  But I am terrified to get on the scale...Living off Pizza over the weekend probably won't yeild good results...oh well.

How about you?  What are you proud about today??

Thanks!
Ruth

Well, I've been back at the gym for two days now since my knee surgery last Wednesday.  I won't lie - it's not fun.  I'll try a short walk tonight.  The surgeon says full load bearing immediately after surgery - a big departure from the old philosophy of total rest.  I gotta say that the knee feels better after the exercise than before.  Very odd.

I'm pretty much back on my diet regieme as well since yesterday.  I gained a few pounds with the knee injury, surgery and all the non-activity leading up to now.  I'm really focused on getting back on track and back to normal.  My clothes are starting to fit tight and I'm not happy   Also went back to work yesterday.  Stitches come out on Thursday.

You are so strong getting back to the gym already....I'm impressed!  Just don't over do it, you don't want to hurt yourself.

I'm hoping to get back on my bike tomorrow morning as I've now missed 10 days due to the move and all this other craziness going on. I'll have to map out a new route in the new development.

I'm afraid to get on the scale which I only just unpacked it yesterday.  I'm waiting till Saturday in the hopes I can undo some of the recent damage.

Ruth, I think you did a wise thing postponing your lower body lift - way too much happening all at once for you. How is the new house?

My day has been very lazy, catching up on reading. Tonight's dinner is comprised of food I bought yesterday at the farmer's market. I love buying fresh veggies directly from the farmers - makes me feel virtuous handing my money over to the people who did the work instead of a middle man grocery store. LOL

I buy all my fruit and veggies at a local farm too..........I love it!!!!!!!  They grow everything without pesticides!

The new house is taking shape.....soon I can call it home.  In addition to unpacking we are having some work done on the pool and yard so there is plenty going on.  Thanks for asking!!
