Good Day!
Let's keep the positive vibe flowing......

What victory did you enjoy today or perhaps over the weekend?

I'm proud that for a change I did not gain anything over the weekend.  I'm noticing a pattern that I let myself go a little too much on the weekend and typically gain 2-3 lbs...which come off by the next weekend but net/net I'm not losing that last few lbs.  So I'm hoping this weekend the scale will move again.

I also increased by time/distance riding the bike yesterday......I did 75 mins and 6 rotations.....I go around my neighborhood which measures 2.25 miles and has some inclines and one hill.  Not a huge hill but still it kills me getting up it each time.  Each day I push myself a little harder to go around more often and get up the hill a little faster/easier.  I really feel it in my legs!!!

I'm proud today that I am dealing with some life stresses and NOT turning to food!!  This is a big accomplishment for me.

Hope you all have a great day.
Celebrate your accomplishments....the big ones and the small ones.

Thanks!

Good job Ruth! not turning to food is huge!

I did my measurements today and since February 19th 2009 (the day I started isagenix) I have lost a whopping 42 inches total off my body ! I am pretty darn proud of that!

Ok.  Its something simple but I'm really working on this.  Full disclosure, I'm reading "Intuitive Eating", so its something I'm getting more aware of.  I actually ate something off my plan because I was HUNGRY!

I came home and my usual routine is I have my last snack at work at 4:00 pm, I come home, go workout or walk, then have my dinner around 8:00 pm.  But today, I was STARVING driving home.  What would usually happen is that I would force myself to not eat, then workout half ass, then binge for dinner.  OR I would break down and eat something bad because I would berate myself for being unable to stick to what I was SUPPOSED to do.  And skip the workout because I was so full.

But today, I ATE!  Just a little bit of chicken and veggies that I had left over from the weekend.   It wasn't alot.  A small bowl, but it was enough to keep me focused, have a great workout, and have my regularly scheduled protein shake for my last meal.  And I didn't beat myself up for going off plan.  This was big.  I'm my own worst critic, and really, why?

Sounds to me like you made a great decision.
Life and eating is all about choices.....we have a plan but it can't be written in stone, it needs to be flexible enough to fit into our life and all stuff that gets thrown at us.  So in my humble opinion I think you did great and would not even consider it that you "went off plan"......I think you have a great reason to be proud!
