Today is day one back on plan, I went grocery shopping after running around doing errands all day, and was hurting something bad by the time I got to the store (couldn't take my pain pills all day cuz I had to drive ) and I almost gave in to cravings for chocolate and cookies. I resisted and my low carb fudge pop**** the spot!!
Hi Heather! I have been tracking on fitday, but when i can i will post here. It is excellent practice to get a handle on what and or how much we eat affects the scale. As long as I have tracked food, it amazes me when I write it all in one spot where i stumble. Example: this week: average cals have been too close to 1700 daily - I will not lose at that and may have gained. I was kind of surprised, yet I knew I had a couple bad days in there.
I want to support it for others who don't take the time to do this. There is good info there. Even when I posted my Thanksgving day eats, actually I was shocked how low the cals were (~2600). I learned by doing this how little cals my body needs, especially as i get older. I also learned by utilizing lower carb eating how well I can do with planning to make it seem like plenty of food!
Yesterday was a good day - tryin to bring down that average i see since Sunday.

OTOH I don't think about what I'm eating or how much or anything like that. I just eat lots of low starch veggies and fruit - as much as I want and make certain I get some legumes or beans starchy vegetables and some grains in with my meals. I'm just not cut out to measure my food or start looking up how much fat/carbs/protein is in my diet. In stead I concentrate on getting a variety of food in my diet. This is working for me. I think though when I get closer to goal I may need to look again at my food choices but right now I'm losing weight.

Thanks for starting it again, Heather.
