When I started this journey in February I wasn't very hopeful about loosing weight on my own without surgery, however after being placed on the liquid protein diet and was so successful on it, I decided to try thyis diet and exercise thing again with a new attitude. I cancelled my surgery as many of you already know then I went on a "oh my God what have I done streak". Anyway, I had a great support system who told m I could do it. I immediately started thinking about all the weight being gone and all the things I could do because of it.

I came onto  this site and I found this forum and started reading others postings. There was somebody's posting that I read "Can't remember who now" but that person had lost 45 lbs on her own without surgery. I was so jealous and inspired all at the same time. It motivated me and I joined a silent race to get to that 45 lb weightloss...This was to be one of my mini goals to get me through this weight war.

Well imagine my joy when I got up this morning, weighed and am now officially down 45 lbs, I coulld sing, dance, yell, cry and everything else in one....I am estatic and so very proud of myself.

Today my friends is a great day

Hot Damn, it is a great day!  I'm doing my happy dance with you! Wakka Wakka

If you don't mind my asking, how do you do the liquid protein diet?  I have some very stubborn pounds left to lose and at this point, I think I need to shake things up a bit.

Congratulations,

Mary

I have a slimfast for breakfast and dinner, soup for lunch and crystal light during the day if I feel hungry. I try to have a glass of milk every night before bed ...just for the calcium...I do also have 1 or 2 sticks of colby jack cheese during the day for the protein. There are days when liquids will not cut it , on those days I'll have a chicken ceasar salad from Boston Market and the scale never seems to mind
