ARGH!
Any suggestions on how to drop the last few lbs?
I don't want to cut calories again or my body will think I'm starving and start storing fat again.
I guess I need to up my exercise. I think I'm drinking enough water but I'll pay closer attention to it.
I think my protein level has dropped in the last week or 10 days, I wonder if up'ing that will help.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Ruth

Uh oh Ruth, two months before having surgery is no time to have your protein levels drop. I started taking a good B Complex vitamin as per doctors orders and it really did help me not to have a deficiency. I also take whey protein to help recover from my workouts.
I'm struggling to lose my stubborn pounds, too, so I'm going to try something different, not quite sure what that will be but they say it's good to shake things up once in a while. I'll let you know if anything works. Good news for you is that your surgeon may be the one removing those last few pounds for you. Wouldn't that be great?

I normally take Whey Protein (EAS brand) at least twice a day. Since I got that cold/flu 10 days ago I have not been doing my regular exercise routine and not taking my protein powder drinks. I'll get back into gear with the walking/running tomorrow morning.
My surgeon had told me not to go lower than 170, I negotiated to 165 but have lost more....I know my body. He wants to be sure he has enough to work with (sculpting). There is plenty of fat in my thighs for him to pump into my butt aug. pumping my butt with fat sounds so foreign to me!
I do believe he'll be pulling a good 10 - 15 lbs off me between my stomach, butt and thighs/legs.
I'll make sure I have a protein drink this afternoon cause I'm doing my Pilate's routine again.
