What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

I went to Walmart today and when I was walking through the parking lot I see these two women getting out of their car and I was just in shock.  One weighed around 350 pounds and the other one weighed around 400 pounds and I don't know what would possibly possess them to do such a thing but they were both wearing short shorts and tanks tops.   Shock 2   I cannot begin to tell you how disgusting that was to see these massive rolls of fat coming out of every opening of their skimpy clothes...I don't know what was worse, the side boobs or the huge thigh rolls.  As soon as they got to the door they both got on scooters to do their shopping.  There was nothing wrong with them except for an acute case of the lazy azz!  By the time I see them again, they are over by the deli, ordering food from the prepared food section.  I got my number and while I'm waiting in this large crowd to have some cheese sliced, these two are eating right there on their carts.  One had chicken wings and was eating it out of the bag and her hands were full of sauce and she's getting it all over the cart handles.  The other one was devouring a corn dog...not a lot of chewing involved.  The one with the corn dog starts yelling at the lady behind the counter that she needs some napkins and the lady doesn't have any napkins cuz that food is not for consumption in the store.  There was a man in a really sharp suit standing next to me and he's talking on the phone and he tells the person he's talking to, "You should see these two big fat slobs making pigs of themselves in the deli."

Now ladies, I realize that a person can't help having fat rolls, Fat Woman 5  but pleeze do me a favor and keep those things covered in public!  These two heffahs wuz giving fat people everywhere a bad name and I totally resented them for that.  When I weighed 320 pounds I always wore loose clothing to minimize just how bad my rolls actually were.  I may have been morbidly obese but I dressed well and kept up with my hair and make-up.

My proud is that when I was huge...I did fat people proud!

The worst part of your shopping experience was actually being in WalMart, IMO.

When I was fat, I wore fitted (but not tight) clothes because loose clothes made me look even bigger.

My proud:  I made some homemade enchiladas and I was so surprised that they were actually good.  I made them with low carb tortillas, salsa, lean ground beef, black beans and cheese.

YOU made enchiladas???  I know you were threatening to the other night but then you changed your mind.  I'm so 'impressed' that they tasted so good.  Did you use my tip for not touching the meat?

I don't know how you go through life not shopping at WallyWorld.  Ours just got remodeled and it's actually very nice now.

Whydga have to go and mention enchiladas...you know I can't handle it and ya gonna make me cry again! Sobbing

Well they're "skinny" enchiladas so they're good but not GOOD, if you know what I mean.  They are nothing like the ooey, gooey, cheesy enchiladas in a restaurant so you're not missing out on much.

I didn't touch the meat but every time I look at raw meat, I want to   I just try to put that picture outta my head as soon as possible 'cuz if I think about it too much, I can't eat it.

It's a damned good thing for you that you are so smart and loveable cuz otherwise you'd just be weird...I know cuz I'm weird, too! Wakka Wakka

My motto always was:  Just because they make it in your size, doesn't mean you should wear it!

I walked again today..  I'm pretty proud of myself for that.  AND I actually made breakfast and ate it instead of running out the door and grabbing something awful in a vending machine!

Amen Sister!  Trust me, these two had no business wearing it.

Vending machines contain not one nutrient in the whole hunk of metal...they are to be avoided at all costs!  You should be proud that you gave it the cold shoulder and cooked a healthy meal, you need it to fuel that walk. Cool

One thing we can say about those two:  they are honest and up front about their issues. They are in your face fat and eating like they are daring you to say sumpthin.

I have been in such a presence myself and pity wells in me more than disgust. I am related to people like this as a matter of fact - just like they are trying to be disgusting.

Boy.

My proud today:  stayed on food plan! DH is out of town and my idea is to eat one meat dish a day and eat veggies at night meal. So far so good.

Yanno Neece, everytime I see an overweight person I pray for them and ask God to make them healthy and happy.  I was just so shocked by these two's behavior, it's like you said...they were TRYING to be disgusting.

Trust me, I wasn't sayin' nuttin' to 'em cuz that one with the corn dog would have been chasing me down on that scooter and then beating me with her corn dog!

Isn't it amazing how much easier to stay on plan when our DH's are no where in sight. Ignoring You  I say men are carriers, the women around them get bigger!

I thought about getting a swimming pool installed in the back yard.  You see, we have this huge water shortage and I have this huge lawn in the backyard.  My water bill is $300 per month in the summer and my gardeners cost $150 a month so I figure, if I took out the lawn, I could fire the gardeners and then build a pool for about the same money.  Only problem is:

I don't want to wear a bathing suit because I still feel fat (at 143 pounds).  I can't imagine weighing 350 and walking around in shorts and tank tops. . . . .
