Stopping by to Introduce Myself
That was my thinking too. The first time I had lost over 100 pounds, I just couldn't afford the surgery. Then my son was diagnosed with autism in 1992 and I just lost focus on the working out and eating right. When I had the balls (for lack of a better word) to actually do it again, I promised myself I would get rid of the poochie pooch. I think it did help me keep the weight off for so long, and I also think being so healthy for that long of a period has bought me a few years worth of health. At my weight, my blood pressure is still very normal, and I had problems with that before I lost weight. My knees don't hurt, I don't have diabetes or sleep apnea, so I think I'm pretty lucky!
Weight gain after plastic surgery is not pretty. Not only the restrictive breathing, but I have brand spanking new stretch marks that are gonna be doozies once I do lose weight. And the incisions don't feel all too comfortable after letting myself get this big again. There's not much give in scar tissue.
