Has anyone heard of or had luck with the "Pear Shape diet" - it is basically a low fat, low salt diet.
Thanks

Becky:
I haven't heard of the pear shaped diet although I've read a magazine article that stated that people who are pear shaped lose best on a low fat diet. I used to be pear shaped (before plastic surgery) and my diet is probably considered low fat. I've never been a fan of fatty foods; my drug of choice was carbs so eating low fat is easy for me. Specifically, a plan of eating healthy food 5-6 times a day and exercising is what works for me.

yeah what Kimmie said...
and from what I know there is something to body shapes and what they should eat more of. Folks like me - Apples - tend to manufacture more cortisol, which points to insulin issues. We should eat fewer carbs. I know that is what works best for me.
Definitely worth looking at! Do several things and stick with what works!
