I am having my second colonoscopy Friday and the prep is very specific and I'm hating it! But tomorow afternoon the good stuff is back in my life. I did make a fantastic mac n'cheese last night the is very Atkins since I used Dreamfields pasta. That will be my last meal at noon today and then it is just clear junk and nasty liquid prep stuff every 15 minutes for 4 hours and running it the bathroom until I'm empty. I don't remember it being this way 5 years ago.
My aunt had colon cancer in her sixties and I really don't want to catch it late if I'm going to have it, so I do this every 5 years instead of 10. Hopefully I will forget how unpleasant the prep is before the next one.

Hey Neecee:
It looks like you're already in the wagon - that's a great list of successes! BTW, I read your posts even when I was MIA and you give such kind, great advice to everyone. I always enjoy reading your posts and I get something out of it even when it's not my post so thank you for your wisdom, support and encouragement!

I'm still on my wagon - LOL and glad to read that everyone else is doing well or getting back on their wagon.
I found some great prepared food at Whole Foods which fits in with my diet so DH and I had a treat dining on take away from Whole foods on Memorial Day. Followed by fabulous cherries - I adore cherries and they aren't available often so you have to enjoy them when you find them.

Hi ladies!
I've missed hanging around. We're up to our eyeballs in alligators here. The economy has been unkind to our little appliance store, so we're figuring out what the heck to do about that...
But I've thought of you all often. :-)
It's also a bit tricky, with our little Sam (the 5-month-old grandson) to frequent all the Internet hangouts I used to. He's a keeper, tho.
Stay focused and healthy! DRINK water, especially now that it's FINALLY getting warm (here in Seattle, anyway)
