Hi Jerz, long time, no see eh? Hey, funny you bring this up cause with my gallbladder attack last week, I was thinking/reading about "eating clean" to keep these attacks under control...
So ya, Iam in BTW, I have lost 24lbs. just by cutting back on snacking!
Now, do you have any good links to TBL eating plans without having to buy a book? Thanks!
P.S. Hey, can you point me to some grain ideas?
grains--pretty standard...think low glycemic (whole wheat, oats, brown rice)
I will attempt doing this, but had a dental problem yesterday that has me on mushy food for a few weeks....
Hi Gael! Long time for u too! Glad to see you
I am trying that same approach-no snacking. I should say almost no snacking b/c I do think there may be times when we do need a snack so as to not go ape at mealtime. If I do snack, I am trying for veggies, a small svg protein, just trying hard to keep it lower cal and whole food.
I don't know if it's making a difference..have not weighed for a couple weeks. I know I feel lots better.
Thanks to Jerz for breaking the BL diet plan down - i have been wanting to research it for a while now and like you don't want to buy yet another book.

I've gotten smarter in my old age - I now borrow them from the library. I actually had my interest tweaked in the other post about the biggest loser so I requested their diet book from my library - should get it ina few days. I'm curious to see what is written.

All the best to those who will diet! As for me - that's too much work and counting!!!
Thought I'd post a little update here so you can see what's up in my world. I'm still (going on 3 years) replacing one meal a day with my shake or soup, being smart in food choices, and getting the body moving. Oh, yes, and drinking water. I find this so delicious, easy, healthful, and non-stressful, that it makes sense to continue. :-) The below photo was taken last Sunday. Those are my grandchildren. Lynnea is 9, Garett 7, and Troy 6. Sam, of course, is almost 5 months. We were airing out his bottom. I give Sam 1/8 of a Super Shake once or twice a day to keep him healthy.
