What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

Geeze Baby Girl, you deserve the right to whine cuz right now...your life sucks!  But give it some time and all of this drama will eventually work itself out...it has to get better, right?

But there is something that you can do right now to make it better for your body.  Stop eating alla that junk!  I know exactly how you feel, I'm addicted to comfort food masself and I know how easy it is at times of stress and sickness to just give up on your plan and start eating anything that will make you feel better about your cir****tances.  But that's all an emotional response to what you are going through.  You are going to HAVE to get a handle on your emotions, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and DEAL with your own personal hell realistically.

Like what all of that FrankenFood is doing to your body.  Right now you need it to be your transportation, and right now, you're body is reacting the same way that a car running on muddy water would react...it's not running well.  What makes it even worse on your joints is that your own special brand of edema is being fed by all of the sodium in your overly processed comfort food and I'm sure by now you have gained back most of the water weight you lost a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately, all of this gaining and losing and gaining and losing is wreaking havoc on the fluid in your tissues and the extra water weight put on your joints is what's causing the pain.  You have got to get off of this crap 'As Soon As Possible'!

I realize being on plan right now is not going to work for you, but here's a thought for while you are recuperating.  I know you love peanut butter.  Buy some Smucker's 'natural' peanut butter that is made only of ground peanuts and not processed, put that on whole wheat bread that is sugar free and voila...instant comfort food that is healthy and you don't have to cook.  Eat fresh fruits and vegetables and low fat milk and cheese, some more non cooking natural foods.  Also, whenever you eat complex carbs, eat some protein with it to slow down your insulin response.  Macadamia nuts and cashews are low glycemic as long as you get natural with no sodium.

I hope you feel better soon and  Happy Mother's Day,

Mary
