Sherrie:
What's underground yogurt?
B: 1 cup rice chex; 1 oz almonds; hi protein milk
L: Lunch at Bombay Brasserie Indian Restaurant - buffet - I usually hate buffets but this indian buffet is really good - 2 pcs naan; 1 serving spoonful of rice; the sauce from chicken tikka masala (I didn't eat any chicken because it's mixed white and dark meat); 2 serving spoonfuls of okra; one of those crunchy things that taste good but kinda weird; a serving spoonful of lentils; 7 slices of raw jalapeno
S: Voskos 0% greek yogurt w/nsa cherry pie filling
D: 1 bite of RoseBud's cheeseburger; 1 sf popsicle
Exercise: 35 minute power walk; too exhausted to ride my bike today

Chocolate underground is a flavor of Stoneyfield brand....my daughter told me about that concoction. I didn't think it was worth the calories or points....and gave me heartburn besides.
After reading the posts today, I had a question. If you just have 1 bite of RoseBud's cheeseburger, what do you do with the rest of the cheeseburger? I guess I have a hard time relating to taking only a couple bites of something. I need more than a couple of bites of something to feel that I've truly enjoyed it. That's me. A compulsive overeater.
Also, my food plan allows for 6 servings of starches a day. I have two at breakfast, two at lunch, and two at dinner. When I eat spaghetti, I always eat a cup of it, rather than 1/2 cup of it, like some people do. I've never felt a 1/2 cup of spaghetti was enough to satisfy me. Oh well, everybody's different.

Denise:
I give the rest of the cheeseburger to RoseBud - that's who I bought it for. I take one bite usually if I'm not planning to eat anything else because I have to take my meds with food.
In order to maintain my weight, I have to eat far less to maintain my weight at 138 pounds than I did at 287ish pounds. It doesn't take as much to fuel my body now. I don't feel deprived.

I don't count calories. I eat healthy foods, 5-6 times a day and I strive to eat at least some protein at every meal. I haven't been eating much for the past 6 months because meds that I'm on make everything taste horrible.
I Indian food too. I used to hate it - hated the smell, taste, look of it - and one day I was over at a friend's house and she had Indian food takeout and for some reason it smelled good to me so I tasted it and loved it.

Sorry to hear about the meds causing a bad taste.
The only reason I asked is because when I read what you ate, like 1 bit of a burger for dinner I thought my goodness that's not enough fuel for the body.
Hope you can come off the meds soon and start enjoying your meals.....
