What did you eat today? (Less than me, I hope) 5/7

HORRIBLE DAY BUT I'LL BE ACCOUNTABLE.......

B:  1 egg plus 1/4 cup Egg Beaters with mushroom and LF mozzarella cheese omelet cooked in butter
S:  Atkins shake
L:  WW yogurt with 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
S:  (not sure what happened here but came back from water aerobics and ate everything in sight)
      6 saltines with SF jelly
      2 graham crackers with butter
      2 WW string cheese
      banana with dab of peanut butter on every bite
      2 oz. sharp cheddar
D:  (out to eat)
      cheeseburger with swiss and mushrooms
      coleslaw
S:  handful almonds
      WW ice cream bar

Too many points and calories and even worse....out of control
OK....so I think I know what happened....got on the scale this morning and it said I'd gained a pound since Monday morning when I've been within my points for 3 days.  Evil scale...should have handled it differently, I know.
Tomorrow, tomorrow......

Exercise:  1 hour of water aerobics

I kind of did that same thing yesterday - snapped a bit after my bike ride! I can see now writing this out that i ate too little in the daytime.

Just get back on that horse, right?

My yesterday:

45 min wog

1 c cereal + 1/2 c nf milk

L:  1 large chicken breast + carrots + spinach + dressing

1 hour bike ride in big hills

Supper:  1.5 c rice + 2 chinese pork chops + 1.5 c bok choy/onions/mushrooms

Shortly after supper:  2 pieces italian bread toast w/butter + 1 c nf milk; pause, then ate 2 oatmeal cookies.

Every once in a while, I do the same.  I truly think it's the body telling you something.

I have switched off Atkins for the month, attempting to see what that does for me.  I am eating 1400/1500 most days with one day to 1900 and one day I don't count calories and will eat anywhere from 2000-2500 calories.  Frankly, I'm not concerned with the calories because there are days I work out for 2-4 hours and that hunger overload is surely related....

For me, it's been working.  I lost 4.5 lbs last week and kept it off all weekend.  Meantime, I  note it all in Fitday and don't let myself feel guilty for it.  Even the Biggest Loser contestants have a day of anything they want....

I'm still trying to figure out what's going on.  I "needed" Atkins to get to 260 an now it seems traditional means are working again.  Go figure.

Glad that appears to be working for you!  With your dedication to exercise, I would think you'd see results no matter what you did...lol.  (Wouldn't it be great if that's all you needed, huh?).  I wish I could exercise more (my knee only allows the water aerobics), but when I'm faithful with that I notice a difference too.

Hope this new plan works for you, Jerz....keep us informed.
