I am SO looking forward to making these - reviews were really good and sometimes I just miss my previous junk-food ways.
I had a big proud today - Doc visit went really well - minus 17 pounds since January and I'm taking half the blood pressure meds and the numbers were "perfect" he said!
Now I'm on pins and needles to get the results of the blood work back. Hoping for a nice improvement in the cholesterol numbers.

Well it looks like Atkins is doing wonders for your health. Getting off of those blood pressure meds will be even greater because they slow your weight loss progress and make you tired. Besides, you need your energy for alla that bouncing from joy you are doing up there! I hope your cholesterol is as normal as mine.
Everyone on the Atkins Forum is always talking about low carb friends, how come I've never been there? It's funny that they mention these things taste like Cheetos. I was reading Jillian's new book and she said that your body doesn't recognize one ingredient in Cheetos because they are all manmade. In it's decision to process these fake ingredients, it releases too much insulin which becomes fat. That was definitely an eye opener. She also said that white flour has been so overprocessed that your body doesn't even recognize it as a grain. Now that's some scary science!
I can't wait for your next results, congratulations!

Wow, that's good news - not only lost weight but lowering your meds too. I completely understand your pins and needlesabout waiting for your blood work to come back and I hope you're thrilled with the results.
I won't see my Dr. till mid July - so that will be about 4 months of being on my new way of eating healthy and I can't wait to see what my blood work will show. So I'm curious and hopeful about your results because it looks like you waited for about the same amount of time.
