CORONA LIGHT BEER BOTTLE EMBOSSED METAL SIGN NEWI wish we were all in Mexico, laid up on this beach for the celebration...notice the light beer just for the likes of us!  I suppose my Proud for the day is that I did a great lower body workout early this morning instead of running off to debauch in Mexico!

Doctor's scale is DOWN 17 pounds since January!
BP down - less medications!
Still on program so hoping the trend will be sustained.Doc wants me to get more exercise - yeah, yeah I know. apparently walking the dogs for 45 minutes is not really enough to satisfy him. I will think on it.

Jan, I couldn't be more proud of your Proud if it was my own Proud!  Hot Damn 17 pounds DOWN. Bouncy 5

Now look here, I've been at this a little longer than you have and I have some bad news for you.  Being walked by your dogs for 45 minutes is NEVER enough to satisfy those damned doctors. I Dunno And thinking on it doesn't do any good either cuz you won't get the results they're going to be expecting.  Where's our chair that the scientists are supposed to be inventing that you sit in and it does all of the workout for you?  I DEMAND my chair damnit!

Hey you, Michelle, it's Cinco de Mayo, not No Pants Day! No Pants Day Good thing you got that figured out before you embarrassed yasself!  Isn't that the most wonderful predicament to be in?

Great Proud Woman!

I'm proud that I did my daily morning walk/run despite not feeling like doing it today!  It was just one of those mornings I didn't feel like running and getting sweaty but I pushed myself to get on the treadmill.  At first I said even if I do 1/2 today it will be better than doing nothing.......I got started and ended up doing the whole thing!
I hope tomorrow I wake up feeling motivated to get on the treadmill and then do my weight lifting work out.

Good Girl!  You know how we are, if we can just get going, we'll go.

Hey I read your post on the PS Board.  Here's a thought.  If you put a red marker where your thigh incision would be to see if you can live with the scar, you are going to have a fake scar AND flabby skin.  It doesn't work that way.  Once you exchange the flabby skin, living with a scar is a walk in the park compared to what you were dealing with when you had both.  Your pants fit like a normal woman's pants.  I'm still amazed every time I see how my pants fit and you can see the definition in my thigh muscles.  Priceless!

I'm proud to be making a firm comittment to an anti-inflammatory way of eating. A little article got me thinking, and I've taken off with it. Today is a full body cellular cleanse day, and I will probably do one tomorrow as well because I'm feeling SOOOOOOOO good. But my weight loss success has led me to do some dangerous cheating, and I've been allowing some baddies back into my life. I'm dismissing them, and it feels good. It's not "just" for weight loss, but for lifelong health that those things that cause both acidity and inflammation are to be minimized. Sure, I'll have cake on my birthday. Yeah, sushi comes with white rice. But these things are NOT to be daily.

So, I'm proud that I'm cleansing today, although that's easy, and looking at the tub of ORGANIC animal crackers and the box of licorice bites without even a twinge of temptation!

Yee haw!

Ole' Mary!

I'm currently reading Jillian Michaels new book, 'Master Your Metabolism', and she talks about alla this stuff.  I've been trying to move away from FrankenFoods for years, but she's listing things I've never even heard of!

I wonder if their is an anti-inflammatory food for your family members? Hmm 2  I'm thinking a few of them are contributing to my cortisol levels!
