Many years ago when bread machines were all the rage I bought  a cheap one and used it a little while until the Teflon coating started to scratch and the dough stuck. Eventually it got packed away in the basement. Well I bought it upstairs recently to make my own bread and it was so delicious that I bought a new bread maker that makes cute small loafs (only DH and I at home now). I never really thought about all the crap that is in most commercially made breads - mine just has whole wheat, yeast, honey or some other sugar (today's bread is made with maple syrup), salt and water.

I find somethings have a new toy to prepare healthy foods is a fun way to encourage you on eating healthy. Do you have any fun toys your use to make good food?

The joke 'round this house is the Gridler (Cuisinart)  DH just HAD to have. He bought it with me kicing and screaming cuz his idea was to eat lots of panini....like EYE need panini.

But I found a way to foil the EH once again: last night, I grilled vegetables! Got him good...
