Happy Easter Everybody!
Happy Easter Ya'll! I hope everyone had a great time hiding eggs and helping the wee folk find them.
We had a very quiet Easter and I thought I had gotten away with being tempted with Easter Evilness until my sister came over with Easter cookies and Easter ham. Don't quite know why you are supposed to eat ham on Easter, but she bought it anyway. Good news is that my DH scoffed it all down and I finished off the rest of my big Atkin's taco salad. 'Nother crisis averted!
Remember, if you must eat anything, go for the boiled eggs...theyze pure protein and won't raise your blood sugar!
Love ya'll,
Mary

They keep the junk food in another room from the coffee in our church, so it was easier this year to avoid it altogether. Tonight, we will have sugar-free chocolate Easter eggs after a rotisserie chicken for dinner. This is the only Easter junk food we'll both consume. I told my husband about it, and he was assuming I'd get a sugary chocolate bunny instead, but he's a diabetic, and I am protecting him as well as myself. I know it has fat in it, but we will be eating them in moderation, sharing a six ounce bag between ourselves. Not eating a giant sugary chocolate Easter bunny, like in the past.
Everybody have a happy Easter! We also bought a new microwave today.
