Hello everyone...remember me??LOL

Hey everyone, I know I have been MIA for a while. But I am back, some things happened and I had to find myself before I come back to my family. Then my grandpa that lives 1500 miles away passed away, it was my dads father that had never met my kids, so I took it really hard, mostly I was feeling guilt.
I also tried some more diets that dont work for me. So Today I bought an Atikins book and I am going with what works for me, Atkins. I have been doing it for several days and getting on my exercise bike for 30 minutes everyday. Anyway I missed everyone and I am back and AM NOT going anywhere!!

As far as the guilt, if grandpa were able to speak to that he'd feel badly too - the road between your homes went both ways, remember! One thing about family - the singular thing we always have above all: LOVE. There is still a silvery thread beyond death or distance that binds you all together.

It took some time but I am starting to realize that. My dad lives in the same town as where my grandpa did and since my grandfather died it has brought us closer together. My dad just met my kids last year.... I think sometimes things like this happen for a reason. We have been expecting his death, so I guess the guilt was that I wanted to see him and I knew it was comming. But I am beginning a new relationship with my dad, which I am sure my grandfather would be happy to see.
