What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?
For the last three days, I have been out in the yard doing "Extreme Yard Work". I have been hauling huge branches, dug up twenty feet of loriope border, scrubbed and cleaned the house and the patio, bushhogged with my weedeater on wheels, sprayed poison ivy vines in the woods and my flower beds, loaded and unloaded fifteen, forty pound bags of top soil and twenty bags of cypress mulch, and planted some bushes. No wonder my body type said I was capable of working like a man!
It was supposed to rain here all day so I decided to work in the house. I just finished my upper body workout, power walked four miles and did a ton of reps with free weights. Now I fancy masself to be in pretty good physical shape, but let me tell ya sumpn'. After alla that "Extreme Yard Work", I had muscles hurting that I didn't even know I had..and my biceps and triceps were screaming like Girly Men!!! So my proud for the day is that I made it through that workout without giving up. Excuse me while I go take a whole bottle of Motrin!

You really got a workout. I'm so jealous, we got snow piled up way past our fence still. Plus an active volcano a 100 miles away from me. I've been scaring myself all day long with possibilities waiting to happen.lol I gotta stop reading! I kept thinking...which way would I go if it started coming this far. One side is to the smoke and ash and all land where it could get too, the other side is to the volcano, but on the other side of the inlet. LOL Screwed both ways!! But then it didn't help any that I read somewhere it got to a town just fifteen minutes after it erupted!! Got to stop reading about lahar, after I read it's possible this one is starting to form a volcano dome. Who'll take me in, I want outta here!
I'm proud today that I finished up that dang box of Atkins peanut butter cups! I ate two of them today and I feel ICKY right now. It's not bothering me none though, because I am feeling pretty good about my plan at the moment. Just learned another lesson of buying crap! :)
Girl, that would be just your luck, living somewhere that formed a volcano where there was none before! Sheesh
Mary
It's called CHOCOHOLIC!! lol
Anything that resembles it, I'll be eating it if its legal in any kind of way. Was thinking about getting some cocoa nibbs because they are legal. But now I'm a littlw worried that maybe I shouldn't right now. Might should wait a bit.lol
I don't care about candy, snacks, anything..just give me chocccooolattttte!hehe Yea, I won't be buying those again.

These are not processed to within an inch of their lives. Not sure if they are legal in your world, but they are in mine!
Mary
Hmmm, nummy! Do they taste more like peanut butter cookies or chocolate cookies? I hate regular peanut butter cookies.
Now...I think this might just be legal, or almost.LOL
This is why I wish he had a forum. So hard to figure out a fwe things. He didn't put down heavy cream in his list, but then I see it is used in a few of his recipe, for even phase one.
Now the sugar substitute is where we are butting heads. He would like you to totally not use it, or at last use Stevia. But then I keep thinking this is a guy who is going to try to get me to eat raw and hardly no meat at the end also! So the sugar substitute is up in the air with me.
When I get desperate, this might just be the thing I make! Think i have to get a little stronger though before making any cookies!! :)
Look on this page under desserts and you will probably find some desserts allowed on your program that are chocolate.

On Atkins, you are only allowed three sugar substitutes a day, mostly to help you break the sugar addiction, and only Splenda is allowed, or Stevia if you can find it. Seems that it will be easier now that Truvia is available. I wonder what that tastes like?
Mary
Cool, thanks.
I do like peanut butter (on this can only have almond butter), I just don't like peanut butter cookies! :) hehe
Thanks for the sight, I'll have to check it out.
Yanno, I think that is one thing that I am not going to take too seriously. I'll cut down, but Stevia is spendy and I just can't afford it. We buy in bulk at Costco's, the big box of Slenda. He did teach one trick though, thought it was a good idea. When you use your packet when weaning yourself off of splenda or whatever, pinch the corner of it say to make an eighth of a tsp. Hold that pinch while you pour out the rest of the packet. Slowly increase your pinch until you no longer need it!
I thought that was a good idea!
