Babs was telling me that her shape was a rather odd mixture of pear and apple.  I say WAS because now she is the creation of a skilled plastic surgeon so her shape is BARBIE! 

But I found this interesting site that explains female body shapes that I've never heard of.  For instance, I am an android mesomorph.   Say WHAT? 

Anyway Babs, the answer is yes, it is possible to be both...who knew?

This is based on a guy I read about years ago:  mesomorph (muscular), endomorph (fat, bloaty all over), ectomorph (wispy, thin). were his three basic types. In his book, i am a meso-endomorph (muscular fatty, basically!). He likewise said we can be mixtures.

It is fascinating and speaks to how/why certain people do not react the same way to weight loss.

Hmmm, I will have to read up on this more! I hope to get to the library today.

                                         56% Lymphatic

I thought i mite have been more Android then that, but who knew? not me.

Hey Twilight, mine just said that I was 92% Android...I wonder what the other 8% was...full of manure???  

As much as I can swell if I'm not careful, I would think that it's probably Lymphatic.

Neecee, alla this is just soooo not fair!  How come we couldn't be the type that had a hard time gaining weight?  I would just once like someone to refer to me as bean pole.  Yeah, like that will ever happen.

I, my dear Maymay am an interesting combination skillfully put together by my surgeon.  I have slim hips and NO waist..in fact at night is it bigger than the rest of me, but you, my dear, know exactly what I mean by that!!!

I have Barbie Boobs, and decent thighs and arms and a nice sway to my back without the rolls (thankyou Dr. Hansen!!)  Ah....but the waist....sigh.

None the less, I love the girl who stares back at me from the mirror....and apparently I'm not the only one.... (oh I can see the e-mail now....)

T...what are you doing over here in our neck of OH? Oh yeah, *****in' about not having a waist!  Sister***** we must have been hittin' that apple shape some kind of fierce to go through all that we have and still don't have a waist.  We have GOT to get BoogerHead to start training on that liposuction plan we put together for the BC.  He can suck the fat out of our guts and put it in Kimmie's butt!

Mary, you are absolutely right - I am a my surgeon's vision.  He's the Michelangelo of the body sculpting profession IMO!  I can't say enough about this man's skill and patience - after all, I am his patient ! 

I just loaded some new family photos.  The ones of me and my grandson were taken today at my baby's baby shower - my new granddaughter is due in a few weeks.  Yep, I'm a granny - 2X over. 

 

Gurl, your grandson is a doll, just like his Nana!  He looks like he's a lot of fun.  I'll bet he can't wait for his baby sister to get here.

I wonder if plastic surgeons have to take 'patience' lessons to deal with the likes of us! I don't know though, when it came to aggravation, mine gave as good as he got!
