The Easiest Diet???

Easiest thing for me so far is low carb.  Of course, I stopped losing....   so I don't know about the effectiveness long term - but as for simplicity WOW.  I could eat anywhere, any time of day, on any holiday... etc.

I did nutrisystem in the 80's..  but didn't maintain it.  Back then though, I thought that having 15 lbs to lose was a major emergency.. LOL   Needless to say, I'd take weight loss efforts to dangerous extremes.

Something I used to do in the early 80's was probably akin to low carb except I did use bbq sauce.  I'd BOIL chicken parts in a pot and store 'em.  I'd skip breakfast, eat the chicken for lunch (dipping in bbq sauce) and do the same for dinner for a week, and I'd lose the few pounds I was shooting for (usually about 5 or so).

OH MAN (slapping self in head)... to think how I *****ed and moaned over 5 lousy pounds.. and how I thought my ass was so big.

Quit slappin' yasself in the head...you're going to give yasself brain damage!

Boy, you sure do know how to go to extremes, don'tcha?  And that comparison of boiled chicken and BBQ sauce to low carb...ummm, I don't get it. Hmm What, they didn't have vegetables where you were raised?

Girl, don't even get me started on our body dysmorphia when we were young.  Of course we were comparing ourselves to little size two peeps who hadn't developed yet.  When I weighed over three hundred pounds, I said I would kill to be a size fourteen pants.  But it took seeing that size twelve tag to make me happy.  What the hell is wrong with us girlfriend???

Geeze Sherrie, did you hear that whine?  I thought I was pretty good at it, but that girl has got it goin' ON!

Good thing you are doing so well with that diet cuz you have a Mustang to fit in.  You ought to take a pic of it and put it on the fridge and say, THAT'S what I want to fit in!!! Convertible Female

The one that my entire family is on right now - the Gluten-Free Diet.  We will all be staying on this diet, because our youngest daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease last year, and a GF diet is the "cure".  I also found out that I have CD, but mine manifests itself in my skin - a condition called Dermatitis Herpetiformis.  My husband and 2 of our other daughters all have 2 gluten-sensitive genes, so our house is now officially "gluten-free".

Incidentally, Daughter #3 WILLINGLY put herself on the GF diet after seeing how much weight (and inches) I had lost.  She now proudly shows off her flat stomach!
